A 32 year woman with type 1 diabetes from the age of 10 years and a past history of Graves’ disease is referred to your clinic from the country for optimisation of her care. She and her partner are keen to start a family. She has established diabetic microvascular complications.
The issues that arose pre-pregnancy, during pregnancy and after pregnancy for this woman and her partner will be presented for discussion.
