Alison Barry
Alison is a Midwife, credentialled diabetes educator with over 25 years working in the speciality area of Diabetes and pregnancy. Alison has held a number of clinical and research positions over this period of time.
She currently works for QLD Health as a Clinical Nurse Consultant/CDE co ordinating the Diabetes in Pregnancy Clinics across Metro North: Caboolture, Redcliffe and Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.
Alison feels privileged to work with women at this important and exciting stage of their lives in planning or experiencing a pregnancy and birth. It is both challenging but very rewarding.
Her other interests include travel, food and wine.
